Well, folks, it's Day 3 of the Treasure Hunt. A number of you have already taken home some nice prizes and there are more today. So keep on Plinging for Treasure!

Among today's prizes, a 1GB iPod Shuffle and gift cards to iTunes and StubHub. It's 11AM now and an iTunes gift card will be in play within a half hour, so tune up your iPling profiles with tags that describe you and might also be appropriate to someone with an iTunes card to give away. Start plinging people with matching tags. Pling the mystery prize giver and YOU WIN!

We gave away more prizes today, including a 16GB iPod Touch to Swimdoug and a 1GB iPod Shuffle to t0mmy1e. Knowtheobscure won a Fandango gift certificate.

But that's not all! The treasure hunt is moving into the third day tomorrow and there are still plenty of great prizes to be claimed. Get ready to create tags and activate profiles to play the final round of iPling's Macworld Treasure Hunt, beginning at 11am Thursday. There's still time to Pling for Treasure!

Just Gave Away the 16GB Touch

It was a fight to the finish as we just gave away the 16GB iPod Touch to Swimdoug, who narrowly edged out a couple of other contestants to be the first to pling Ben Stiller, our celebrity prize giver, who had the winning tag Zoolander.

Congratulations Swimdoug. Everybody else, keep on plinging, there's still an iTunes gift card in play, and more prizes being released at 2pm, including a StubHub gift certificate and a 1GB iPod Shuffle!
